Galloway Harriers Club Handicap
The Club handicap is an annual event which enables all our members
regardless of ability to guage their progress from the previous year.
Handicaps are assessed from the year's achievements and the route is normally
over a distance of 4 - 6 miles over undulating terrain.
This is a fun event and by using the handicap principal it enables runners
of all abilities to finish the course at approximately the same time. A social event is organised immediately afterward where
prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Club Handicap 2009
Our latest Handicap race was held on Sunday 17 May 2009 around Glentrool area. The
event was organised superbly by John with a music quiz and social afterwards. See pictures below:
